Manual for the 16/50 HP Rover Car
contributed
by:
Kenneth Gundry (email)
You can contact Mr. Gundry
at the email link above. He hails from San Francisco and would be pleased
to make contact with owners of cars from the 1920s.
The files listed below
are arranged so that when printed, you can print out your own copy of
the manual. Contact us if
you have problems viewing the files. (Note: Internet Explorer 5.5 or
higher is best, since it allows resizing of images to fit your screen.)
How the pages are numbered:
Each jpg file below contains two pages, the one with the same number
as the file and the later one in the booklet
that occupies the same side of the sheet. Thus printing these out double
sided with consecutive files on the two sides gives sheets that when
folded
and stapled down the middle produces a copy of the original (except
for the
engine, carburetor and electrics figures which were glued in anyway).

The
Old Car Manual Project
Some general
information:
What is "the old
car manual project"?
The idea is to scan manuals for old, vintage or antique American vehicles
and their components and make them available on the web, for free.
Why are we doing
this?
Why not? But really - one of the hardest parts of restoring or servicing
old machines is getting decent technical information. Often, it's difficult,
impossible or expensive to obtain. We think that this kind of information
should be freely available, as a public resource for the preservation
of our industrial history.
Who are we?
We are some guys who like old iron. We can be contacted at xerog@xerog.com
