Another cause of sluggish
operation is defective wiring.
Repair or replace any wires that
are loose or frayed. Tighten all
connections.
Sluggish operation may also be
caused by worn or dirty motor
brushes. If this condition is
suspected, test the motor for no-
load current draw as described
on page 15.
If
,
the
regulator is a single arm
type, it must be removed from
the quarter window be-fore the
motor can be detached for test.
The motor and bracket assembly
is detached by removing the
three attaching screws.
